Jordan Engineering have taken delivery of their new multi-axis CNC machining centre, The Doosan HM1000 is due to be commissioned by early November 2009.
The machine has been supplied by Mills CNC, and is seen as one of the Flag Ship machine tools in the current Doosan range. Having an impressive capacity range, the machine is capable of accommodating a machining envelope of over 2 metres.
Jordan Engineering’s continued success in the subsea/offshore oil and gas industry has recieved further credibility by becoming an approved supplier to Subsea 7.
Jordan Engineering has successfully tendered a machining contract with Miller UK, to produce machined components for the revolutionary ‘Miller quick hitch coupler’. Miller UK is an industry leader in the provision of earth moving equipment, and has had substantial growth with the design and development of the quick hitch coupler.
Jordan Engineering has added the impressive capacity and capabilities of the Doosan Puma 700 LB CNC lathe to its extensive plant list. The machine can offer customers up to 1 meter dia by 3 meters long turning capacity.
